Hey there!! I'm Haley! First of all I'm so honored that you're considering me as your newborn photographer. This is such a monumental season in your life, and it deserves to be captured authentically and beautifully.
One of the reasons I became a photographer was because I wanted to be able to take photos of my first daughter once she was born. I never wanted to forget the details of her tiny perfect fingers, delicate eyelashes, and fuzzy newborn skin. I know firsthand how these sweet babies can change literally daily right before our eyes! Thus, newborn sessions really have a special piece of my heart.
I've now photographed over 200 newborns, and each and every time I truly love stepping into your space and capturing the wonder and joy that comes along with getting to know that precious new little person in your life. It would be my honor to do that for you too!
My overall goal for every newborn session is a relaxed, stress-free, and fun experience for all!
In no particular order, I’ll be capturing whole family photos, sibling photos, photos of baby alone, photos of baby with each parent, and nursery details.
Utilizing the spots with the prettiest natural light in your home, I’ll guide and direct you all along the way! I promise you’ll never have to wonder - “what should I do with my hands?!”
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A NEWBORN SESSION WITH me
HOW LONG DOES A NEWBORN SESSION LAST?
I never set a time limit on newborn sessions, because I’m a mom too and I know that babies don’t just fall into our schedule / plans like we sometimes want them to! That being said, they do typically last around 60-90 minutes. These sessions are truly baby-led, and we will likely take a few breaks throughout for baby to be changed or fed, soothed or swaddled, etc.!
WHERE CAN you HAVE your NEWBORN SESSION?
I encourage you to have your newborn session at home, where you are all most comfortable (not to mention it’s the most convenient place too!). I will send a detailed Prep Guide prior to your session which includes helpful tips on how to prepare your home. Don’t worry - it’s really simple!!
That being said, some families would rather have their newborn sessions elsewhere. Subject to availability, I do have access to a small guest house in the NW OKC area; and another great option is renting a local studio called Ren in Edmond (additional $150 rental fee). Both spaces feature beautiful natural light, white walls, and neutral furniture.

WHAT WILL THE GALLERY BE LIKE?
I will carefully select the very best images from your session to create your final gallery! It will include at least 50 beautifully edited photos. All images will appear in color, with about 10-20% also appearing in black & white.
You’ll be able to instantly download images to your computer and/or phone, as well as order prints directly from your gallery through my professional printing lab. Or you are totally welcome to print / order through wherever you like!
in case you're a little nervous about how your older kiddos will do...
Listen, I know that gaining a new sibling can be stressful for kiddos. My oldest had a really tough time when her baby sister was born! I want you to know that I neverrrrrr expect perfect behavior, so please please please don’t worry about that! Your toddlers and older children will likely need breaks during our session, and that’s totally okay and welcome!
You really can trust me when I say I only need a few minutes here and there to capture those the sweet moments between sibs. So if that’s all we get, that’s okay! You have full permission to relax, leave the directing up to me, and let your kids be kids – we will honestly get the very best and most authentic images this way too.

$700
A $200 retainer fee is due at booking, with the balance due by your session date.
(a $50 travel fee will be added if your home is outside of the OKC/Edmond metro area)

what about AFTER WE BOOK… when WILL the NEWBORN SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Once you are booked, I pencil in your due date, as a reference point. Once your sweet baby actually arrives (since I know this might be early or late!), you’ll reach out to me to let me know. We’ll then work together to find a specific date for your session typically and ideally within the first 2-3 weeks of life, but up to 10 weeks old. I do most newborn sessions on weekdays, during the morning hours.
