Hey there!! I'm Haley, and I'm so excited that you're considering me as your family photographer!
With over 500 family sessions now under my belt, you can rest assured you're in good hands! Whether I'm photographing your first baby bump or your family of 8, it truly brings me so much joy to tell your family’s story through creative & beautiful images.
I promise to deliver a gallery you’ll cherish forever, and I guarantee we’ll have a great time together too!
My goal for every single session is a relaxed, stress-free, and FUN experience for all!
During full sessions, I’ll be capturing whole family photos, sibling photos, portraits of each kiddo, a handful of smiling-at-the-camera shots, and a whole lot of lifestyle images! I’ll guide and direct you all along the way and I promise you’ll never have to wonder - “what should I do with my hands?!”
*During mini sessions, whole family photos are typically prioritized, then sibling shots, and there are fewer lifestyle images overall.
I also send a detailed Preparation Guide prior to your session which includes many helpful tips and outfit guidance. Following the info in the guide helps us maximize our time together as well as create those beautiful and timeless photos of your family that you're dreaming of!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT A SESSION WITH me
HOW LONG DOES A family SESSION LAST?
Full outdoor sessions last around 60 minutes. Extended family sessions run a bit longer depending on how many people are involved, but usually around 90 minutes.
If the 60 minutes scares you to death initially, and you think there's no way that your little ones could last that long - I want to encourage you! It's often during the last half of a full session when my favorite moments and therefore favorite images emerge. You know your kiddos best, but I find that sometimes it takes kiddos that long to really loosen up and let their personalities shine, so please don't be scared! I'm also really confident at meeting kids where they're at, engaging them, and keeping things fun and playful.
Utilizing the prettiest light of the day is essential to me to make the most beautiful images possible, so I shoot all outdoor family sessions at "golden hour," i.e. the last hour of the day before sunset, or the reverse golden hour of the first hour of the day!
WHERE CAN you HAVE your SESSION?
I have numerous favorite locations around the OKC / Edmond metro area that I utilize for family sessions. If you're booked for a full session, I will provide you with a location guide of both rural and urban options for you to choose from. Depending on your family's style and your overall vision for your images, some locations will work better than others. You'll also want to take into account the current season and foliage! If you can't decide, I'm here to help and I'm confident that we can find the perfect location for your session!
Mini session dates and locations are pre-determined by me, and I aim to let you know the specifics at least a week out from our session. All locations are within the OKC/Edmond area.
WHAT WILL THE GALLERY BE LIKE?
I will carefully select the very best images from your session to create your final gallery! Full sessions include at least 40 beautifully edited photos. All images will appear in color, with about 10-20% also appearing in black & white.
You’ll be able to instantly download images to your computer and/or phone, as well as order prints directly from your gallery through my professional printing lab. Or you are totally welcome to print / order through wherever you like!
in case you're a little nervous about how your kiddos will do...
Listen, I'm a momma too! I want you to know that I neverrrrrr expect perfect behavior, so please please please don’t worry about that! I always have a plan in mind when going into a family session, but I'm also an expert at going with the flow. That's the name of the game particularly with kiddos anyway, right?!
Does your toddler only want to be held the entire session? No worries! Or maybe it's the total opposite and they very strongly ONLY want to roam free... that's honestly cool too! Seriously, I mean it when I say it's not going to stress me out. I've photographed over 500 family sessions and I've seen it all! You have full permission to relax, leave the directing up to me, and let your kids be kids – we will honestly get the very best and most authentic images this way too!
